Prescott College Fall Film Series: The State of the State, films with timely messages and amusing looks at the current state of affairs. This hilarious 2007 film documents a cross-country mission to save Christmas from the Shopocalypse: the end of mankind from consumerism, over-consumption and the fires of eternal debt! This shock-umentary may be just the divine intervention we've all been searching for. Free and open to all. Discussion following each film. Starts at 6:30 p.m.

We are a growers-only market where you'll find the best selection of fresh, locally-grown produce, baked goods, grass-fed beef, jams and sauces, tamales, BBQ, dog treats, art vendors, guest chefs, musicians, and special events throughout the season! Wednesdays, from 3-6 at the M & I Bank parking lot.

Also: On Thursdays, come to the Chino Valley Farmers Market from at the Bonnfire Grill parking lot.

On Saturdays, come to the Prescott Farmers Market at Yavapai College from 7:30 am - Noon.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - CWAG - Yavapai County Board of Supervisors District One candidate's forum on water issues. Challengers George Seaman and Georgene Lockwood and incumbent Carol Springer will participate. Location: Granite Peak UU Congregation - 882 Sunset Ave., Prescott  (Two blocks behind True Value). Please note that this August 2nd meeting takes the place of our regular CWAG meeting on the second Saturday of the month. Some of the candidates could not participate in a forum on that date.
