Vocal Workshop

When it comes to our vocal expression, we really are different. Men and women use their voices differently and often experience a very real language barrier. The roots of our vocal differences are fascinating and frequently misunderstood—so little is physical and so much is spiritual and cultural. Join us for an informative workshop that explains the "hows" and "whys" of speech and explores gender as the sculptor of both our inner world and outer expressions.

Jamie Bennett, workshop facilitator and professor at Yavapai College, has studied and lived this topic, both as the woman she is and as a "boyeur" in the man's world in which she lived for many years. Demonstrations, insight, and personal experience will make for an enjoyable and eye-opening evening. For more information, contact Jamie at (928) 445-7843.
