The C Bar C Doggie Dude Ranch at 3900 Willow Creek Road extends an invitation to their Yappy Hour on April 26, 4-7PM. Bring your dog, eat, tour the Ranch, meet our staff, enter contests, and win prizes! Then, on May 5, the DDR will host a Dog Wash – a fundraising event with all proceeds going to Northpoint Expeditionary Learning Academy (NELA) and the Yavapai Humane Society. In partnership with NELA instructors, the DDR has created a curriculum of study for NELA students that will include event-planning, fundraising, business skills, as well as pet care. Under the direct supervision of DDR owners, Daniel and Shelly Gilliam, trained, dog-savvy NELA students will provide dog-baths (incl. ears & nails), play-park sessions, and kenneling care – while developing their business and customer service skills! Sign-ups will begin at the Yappy Hour; prices are $15 or $25, depending on size/coat of dog. |
