3-week riparian project - Volunteers needed

Monday – Friday, August 4-22, 2008 
THREE WEEK PROJECT - Volunteers are Welcome!
A demonstration project, based on an open-space inventory and monitoring plan that has been developed, will be conducted in riparian habitats along the Agua Fria River in the month of August.  Nationally recognized methods that will yield vegetation maps, photographs and descriptions of value for education and conservation planning will be used. Volunteers that participate in the three-week project will have the opportunity to play a continuing role in open-space monitoring, planning, and education. 
Monday - Friday, August 4-8, 2008 Project Training -Dewey. 
Monday - Friday, August 11-22, 2008 Fieldwork

Please note that this August 2nd meeting takes the place of our regular CWAG meeting on the second Saturday of the month. Some of the candidates could not participate in a forum on that date.
