THE PAJAMA GAME

May 22 – June 7

Directed by Bruce Lanning

The setting is the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory and a strike is about to pit the workers, represented by Babe Williams, against management, represented by the new factory superintendent Sid Sorokin. Adding to the complications, Hines, the factory efficiency expert, is in love with Gladys, the company president's secretary, and he is jealous of any attention she gets from Sid. All the union wants is a wage raise of seven and a half cents an hour, but the battle of the sexes compounds the issue and creates a lot of fun. These women are not the secretaries stereotyped in many early shows, but independent women who rebel against the establishment! This musical is great fun and full of comedy and music that will send you out of the theatre humming the tunes.
