2009 Prescott Senior Olympic Summer Games

Prescott Parks and recreation is currently taking registration for the 2009 Prescott Senior Olympics. The Senior Olympics are open to all "young at heart" Seniors, 50 years of age and up as before December 31, 2009. Events are scheduled to be held throughout the Tri-Cities area July 10 through July 26, 2009. Cost is $20 for registration and $5 for each individual event.

New Tai Chi Classes in Prescott! edit
Tai Chi / Chi Gong classes are now being offered every Monday and Wednesday, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m and Sundays 11:00 a.m. - Noon. No previous experience, special clothing or equipment is required. Master Kravetz is an experienced instructor who loves to share the art.

Living History at Sharlot Hall Museum
10:00am - 3:00pm
Come visit with living history interpreters as they relive Arizona's military past. The Fort Whipple Museum is located in Building 11 on the Veteran's Administration Hospital campus off of Arizona Highway 89. After entering the Hospital campus, bear left at the first stop sign. Continue a short distance to the first T intersection and turn left. The Museum is the yellow house with green trim.
