Steve and Lois Hirst present "Life in a Narrow Place: Survival in the Canyon Then and Now" Talk and Book Signing March 22 at Prescott Public Library
(Prescott AZ) -- Steve and Lois Hirst, author and photographer of the recently released I Am the Grand Canyon: The Story of the Havasupai People, began living in Havasu Canyon in the 1960s after serving as Peace Corps volunteers in Africa and experienced many of the hardships and changes they describe during more than a decade of life with the Havasupai. Join them on Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m. in the Founders Suite at Prescott Public Library to hear about their experiences firsthand. This program is sponsored by the Grand Canyon Association and the Friends of Prescott Public Library. Prescott Public Library is located at 215 East Goodwin Street in downtown Prescott.
