Wolfe Tracks News – 2/28 Issue Thursday 29th March SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION OPEN MIC 7-9pm at Prescott College Crossroads Café behind 220 Grove Ave - 928-350-1007. Performers fee is $2 per signup (students of PC are free). Hosted by Silver Wolfe & Courtney Osterfelt, this is a clean/sober and uncensored event. Bring your instruments and songs, poetry, and improv material – original songs are encouraged but not required. Friday 30th March LUNAFEST begins with the pre-reception 6:30pm at Elks Opera House (113 E. Gurley) and the film festival runs 7-9pm at the Elks highlighting women as leaders. Tickets are sold by Silver Wolfe (717.8250) or Courtney Osterfelt (350.1007). Music at the reception AND after party will be provided by Jesse Pursley’s group, The Moving Edge Ensemble, featuring Jonathan Best on keyboard. The after party is a dance at The Raven Café from 9 until 11 pm! Join the Wolfe Pack for some awesome live improv music and dancing. 6th Annual National Film Festival in Prescott, Arizona - LUNAFEST: Films By, For and About Women. All proceeds from the LUNAFEST premiere will go to WEB, Women’s Empowerment Breakthrough and the Breast Cancer Fund. Thus far, LUNAFEST, which is sponsored by LUNA, the Whole Nutrition Bar for Women, has raised over $100,000 for Breast Cancer Fund and over $250,000 for other women’s nonprofits. Saturday 31st March GYPSY VILLAGE FULL MOON GATHERING hosted by Silver Wolfe 7-10pm Prescott Coffee Roasters 318 W. Gurley - 928-717-0190 (Clean/Sober Event). Tonight we celebrate the full moon plus spring equinox with a SPECIAL EVENT featuring Native American flute, drumming, harp and didgeridoo plus Medicine Songs for Earth Mother and talks about Sacred Earth fundraiser with Thomas Arnold, Silver Wolfe of Prescott, Silverwolf of Phoenix, Lily Swan and Jesse Pursley! Donations will be collected for the Watershed project at this evening's pre-run ceremony with Thomas and other participants starting their 60-mile marathon at 4am on Sunday morning.
