Victoria Mogilner, author of "Ancient Secrets of Facial Rejuvenation" (New World Library, December 2006) will give a talk entitled "My Writing Adventure: How I Found a Publisher, Worked with an Editor and Publicist, and Continue to Promote My Book" when the Professional Writers of Prescott (PWP) meet at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 23 in the Founders Suite on the lower level of the Prescott Public Library.
"Ancient Secrets of Facial Rejuvenation" shows how your body, mind and spirit are all part of one, interconnected energy system. Learning how to love yourself can help restore your youthful glow and increase your daily peace of mind.
Mogilner brings her enthusiasm for life to her book project. She sold the book to New World Library without an agent. Mogilner works with a publicist but does a lot of her promotion on her own, booking herself continually for speaking engagements and signings.
A certified acupuncturist, Mogilner has maintained a private practice of acupuncture, acupressure, herbal medicine, massage therapy, and counseling for more than 20 years. She received clinical training in Tibetan medicine under the direct tutelage of the Dalai Lama's personal physician, Dr. Dolma, and studied at the Gestalt Institute for three years.
