Prescott Fine Arts Association features one of Prescott's finest female choirs and an outstanding harp trio for Velvet Voices and Heavenly Harps concert on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., sponsored by the League of Prescott Fine Arts.
Under the direction of noted sopranos Arlene Hardy and Jill McMahon, some of the quad-city area's best female vocalists will be performing a variety of beautiful choral music.
And, what could be better than music played on the harp? How about music played on three harps? Harpists Elizabeth Elgin, Ellen McGowan and Anne Badger perform a variety of pieces selected from classical, popular and traditional folk music arranged for three harps. These three musicians bring depth and style to a beautiful instrument.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children 12 years and under, and may be purchased in the office at 208 N. Marina, Prescott, or by phone at 928/445-3286. Proceeds benefit the PFAA Scholarship for Youth Fund.
