A Prescott Mayoral/City Council Candidate Forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Central Yavapai County, Prescott Area Leadership, Access 13, and Yavapai College will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2007. 

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a “Meet the Candidates” in the foyer of the Performance Hall located at 1100 E. Sheldon Street on the campus of Yavapai College.  All candidates have been invited.

The League of Women Voters will offer voter registration, and each sponsor will have a display of their organization.  

The forum will be composed of questions from the audience on topics of highest priority to the City of Prescott.

The candidates running for Mayor will respond to questions from 7 – 7:40 p.m. and the candidates for the three seats available for the City Council from 7:45 – 9:00 p.m.

We encourage the public to attend to learn more about the candidates to help them decide on their votes in this important local election.  This event will be aired by Access 13 in the weeks leading up to the primary election.
