Audience desired. Meet at 6 PM, Wednesday, August 22 in the Founders Suite of the Prescott Public Library to listen to a Literary Open Mike with the Professional Writers of Prescott (PWP). Ten PWP members will have ten minutes each to wow everyone with their best original stuff.
Readers include Susan Lanning; author of Harper's Bluff and The Danesboro Line; Connie Johnson, author of A 1950s Wisconsin Memoir; science-fiction writer Marian Powell; novelist, children's author and poet Arlene Eisenbise; Mad Women poet Mary Bragg; Marlene Baird, author of Claire Walker and three other novels; Nancy Owen Nelson, assistant director of the Hassayampa Institute for Creative Writing; essayist, poet, short-story writer and novelist Colette Ward; Ernest Giglio, author of six books, including his most popular Here's Looking At You: Hollywood, Film & Politics; and Willma Gore, author of numerous children's books, essays, articles and Just Pencil Me In—Your Guide To Moving & Getting Settled.
