My computer has been taken over by some sort of mysterious font monster.  I am not sure if you are getting this message in Russian, some sort of complex mathematical formula, or potentially another entirely alien dialect.  Nothing looks quite right, but my fingers are hitting the keys as best they can, and I'll hope it all looks better to you.  Maybe it was the sulphur springs I was soaking in last night, or the wierdness I came upon in Telluride this weekend. Regardless, I am working hard to make sure you don't miss out on this week at the Raven.

Tuesday:  It is election month round these parts, so we figured on showing movies with a slant toward local politics and politicians...thievery, deception, and nefarious activities abound.  This Tuesday we will be showing the original "Thomas Crown Affair"  8:30pm

Wednesday:  The Prescott Playboys will be in for an evening of dinner and dancing.  Our own Ben Dickey will be sitting in on guitar.  6pm

Thursday:  Ramsay Midwood from Austin, Tx.  I can not begin to tell you how excited we are about this show.  Ramsay has built his whole Southwestern Tour around this show at the Raven.  He will be bringing his band from Austin, and if you have missed my description thus far...imagine JJ Cale and Tom Waits taking a road trip through the deep south with The Band to record their own version of The Basement Tapes.  Tickets are $5 at the door, and we are hoping you will all come down for this wonderful evening of music.  These are the kind of events that happen rarely, and we need your support to ensure we are able to continue bringing artists of this caliber to town.  8pm

Friday:  From Albuquerque, NM, The Giranimals are returning for their second show at the Raven.  They were a huge hit last time and we are excited to have them back.  8pm
