From Choosing a Play to the Perils of Tech: Learn It All!
All the world is a stage and the Theatre Director's Workshop presented by Prescott Fine Arts will explain it all. For novices and experienced directors, actors and the merely curious, the Theatre Director's Workshop will enlighten, educate and entertain. Daniel Schay, Managing Director of Phoenix Theatre, leads this dynamic one-day workshop being held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Prescott Fine Arts Theatre. Workshop registration is $60.
Are you interested in directing live theatre but don't know where to start? Currently a director and want to add some new tools to your toolbox? Are you an actor who wants to understand what motivates the director? The Theatre Director's Workshop provides local theatre directors and those interested in learning more about directing with an opportunity to learn from a master. Dan Schay has worked as a director, consultant and educator at theatres across the country, and has been with Phoenix Theatre since 2004. His directing credits include over 30 productions at regional theatres around the country.
