On Tuesday, October 23, 2007, the Community Partnership for Comfort Care of Yavapai County will host an educational seminar for the general public titled, "What is Palliative Care?"

The three expert presenters are:

-Dennis Garvey, Dean, Department of Lifelong Learning at Yavapai College in Prescott, speaking about "Aging 101," -Richard Rader, DNP, Hospice Family Care in Prescott, speaking about "Self-help for Chronic Pain," and -Gillian Hamilton, MD, Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, speaking about "Relating to your Healthcare Provider."

There will be booths with information that will compliment the topics of discussion. At the end of the presentation, there will be a time of mingling with the presenters.
