The Highlands Center for Natural History invites its members, supporters and community to their first annual Holiday Open House from 11 am to 2 pm in the James Learning Center, 1375 S. Walker Rd, Prescott. Come have refreshments, see old friends, make new ones and get a jump start on your holiday shopping in the Benson Family Nature Store. The Center's Nature Store now carries a wide variety of nature related books, games, puzzles, puppets and Highlands Center apparel. Highlands Center Members receive 10% off their purchases. All proceeds from the Nature Store go towards supporting the mission of the Center of helping children and adults discover the wonders of nature and becoming wise caretakers of the land. The Nature Store will also be open during regular office hours Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, for more details call the Center at 776-9550.
