Prescott Fine Arts Association presents the acclaimed Lillian Hellman drama, Children’s Hour, opening Thursday, January 17th at 7:30 p.m., with a public reception and a chance to meet the cast afterward, then continuing January 18, 19, 24, 25, 26 at 7:30 pm and two matinees January 20 and 26 at 2 pm.
Directed by Jean Lippincott and written by Lillian Hellman. Two honorable women—one vicious lie—a legion of intolerance. This daring drama set in 1962, Karen and Martha are the headmistresses of an exclusive girls’ school, when a vindictive child twists an overheard comment into slander. The lie she tells will change their lives forever and the repercussions are swift, crushing…and tragic.
