Celebrate Gaelic Week March 17 through 22 at Prescott Gateway Branch Library. Enjoy free programs for the whole family throughout the week as you sample tea and treats. Men caught wearing a kilt will win a prize! With story times, live music, kilt-spotting and more, there's something for everyone. Call 777-1530 for details.
Monday, March 17 bring the kids to story time with Mr. Steve at 10 a.m. From 10:30 to 11 a.m., experience live bagpipe music with Denise Robinson, followed by a book signing with David Quinn, author of It May Be Forever: An Irish Rebel on the American Frontier. Tuesday, March 18 at 11 a.m. brings Tom Flowers performing on harpsichord. Friday, March 21 kids and their grownups can have fun with Gaelic songs, stories and historic costumes from 10 to 11 a.m. From 3 to 4 p.m. enjoy the Celtic sounds of "AZ It Was." Saturday, March 22 wraps up this year's celebration with music of the British Isles from the Dolce Quartet at 1:30. Enjoy hot tea and treats all week.
