If you had a Thanksgiving anything like mine, you are still stuffed on leftovers of deep fried turkey, gumbo, ribs, sweet potatoes, gravy, shrimp and grits. That's why we're providing a week of easily digestible evenings at The Raven.
Monday: Allen Huddleston spins a set of happy hour funk music. Then... Pizza, Pitcher and a Picture night continues. This week's feature... "Ty's Surprise." It's a special feature involving a mysterious movie that the screenwriter, Ty Fitzmorris, is selecting as I type. 8:30pm
Tuesday: Tony is cooking up a menu to welcome in December:
Appetisers:
- Cumin Crusted Seared Ahi served with English Cucumbers and Julienne Carrots

Friday: Local favorite Pat Beary is returning to the Raven stage with a full band. If you've heard Pat before, you know it will be a great show...If you haven't...thinking 1990s Elvis Costello. 8pm
Saturday: Marianne Dissard is a stellar songwriter and musician from France by way of Tucson. Her last album was produced by Calexico, and is getting a lot of attention on the radio. She's one of my favorites and I'm highly recommending this show. Tucson musicians Will Elliot and Andrew Collberg will open. 8pm
Sunday: Brunch with Lily Swan and a special tribute to John Lennon. 10am
Your Album of the Week: Frank Black used to go by the name Black Francis. During those days he fronted a band called the Pixies. Nowadays he's the front man for Frank Black and the Catholics and he's releasing stellar albums like "Devil's Workshop." Check it out.
