This week... Halloween! But save you're energy. We've got a full week ahead.

Monday: >DJ Wordthieves spins soul and funk for happy hour. Then... Pizza, Pitcher and a Picture Night continues with "Monster Squad." It's a horror/comedy starring a scary German guy, a vampire hunter, some monsters, and a virgin who may or may not be a virgin. 8:30pm
Tuesday: Tony's menu: A cauldron of spooky specials. Desert: Boo-berry pie.

Thursday: Due to some vehicular troubles, Band of Annuals is having to reschedule their performance. We'll keep you posted. They were definitely bummed as they love playing here.

Friday: Halloween at The Raven Cafe: Costume Contest, Drink Specials, A Menu to Die For, A "Dangerous Animals" Petting Zoo, and a DJ set by Allen Huddleston. Plus you'll get to see what kind of costume Ty puts together this year. 7pm-until

Saturday: From Portland, Oregon... One of our favorite bands, Musee Mecanique returns to the Raven stage. They sound like Brian Wilson remade The Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" as a soundtrack to a film set on a 1930s carnival boardwalk. Musee Mecanique is growing in popularity with each tour, and is on the precipice of becoming the "next big thing." Round up your friends and come see what all the buzz is about. Check them out at: www.myspace.com/museemecanique 8pm

Sunday: More and more doctors are recommending Brunch as a sensible part to a balanced diet and healthy life.

Your Album of the Week: Ethiopiques, Vol. 21 (Solo Piano). This is piano music from Ethiopia circa 1970s. I can't explain how good this is. It doesn't make sense, it just makes everything better.

Until Again
