The Town of Prescott Valley will be hosting a flu/pneumonia shot clinic at the Civic Center on Friday, November 21 from Noon to 5:00p.m. in Community Room 331 - 7501 E. Civic Circle.

Flu shots cost $30 and are recommended annually to prevent the newest strains of influenza. The pneumonia shot costs $45 and helps to protect against twenty three types of bacterial pneumonia, blood infections and meningitis.

Both vaccines are 100% covered by Medicare B, Humana Gold Choice, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arizona Health Care plans. The flu shot is also covered through State of Arizona Benefit options. State of Arizona employees, dependants, or retirees that are benefit plan members can receive a free flu shot with their insurance card.

Participants will need to fill out a consent form, on site, for the nurses. Please make sure that shirt/dress sleeves can be rolled up to the shoulder and bring an insurance card if available.
